Dark days...

I'm sorry to use this space, after 3 years, to make a serious point, but sometimes, I just get overwhelmed. I feel stressed, and rather than write poetry, I feel the need to vent. I'm sorry about this, you know, you come here in your single figures, expecting some kind of quirky comedy - well, not today, I feel down - I'm sorry Claire, I'm sure that writing a movie about Nineapples and Albino's would have been funny, but not today. Like Kanye West, I need to say something. I was going to put it behind a friends lock, but I need to say something to all 7 of you...

On the 3.10.2004, one day before our beloved Ms Cole launches Spook, the vile, god awful Disco Cow releases her debut album, hopefully called Butt Seriously...(thanks Tina T!)

My initial reaction was WHY, damn you God, WHY! WHY! But now, it's time to fight, fight so very hard - this isn't about musical quality, it's about good v evil, for the first time since Kapros v Zuluaga. It's time to pull every resource we have, block parties, campaigns, celebrities, posters, firebombing Sanity - hell ANYTHING to stop this vile woman having even the most minor success - we will not rest until she is homeless and can't get employed by a hot dog shop that hires for the disadvantaged...



It's time to dig out Collette, for a special charity song...and it's time to somehow learn to use Photoshop to make banners...

It's time, it's time to fight...

Count me in.

Callum is a very good campaigner - he has been telling anyone who'll listen how Alison Goldfrapp is a dirty, evil whore for the last three weeks. CD hiding, the lot (I'm still not convinced that having people buy the Futureheads over Goldfrapp's album is a good tactic - 'at least the Futureheads acknowledge that they're covering Kate Bush', being his only back up).

Do we know if anywhere is shipping the Spook album internationally? I want it, but so far I'm drawing a blank on how I'm actually going to get hold of it. Sad face.

I don't know where to get it locally yet!

I'll sort it out, I might have to harass my local shop over and over, but I'll sort it out!
